Rodgers was a member of the 1976 U.S. Olympic team. He holds master national records for the 8K, 15K and half marathon for the 45-49 age group.
Rodgers is one of many elite athletes competing in the 2011 Bellin Run in Green Bay. His first Bellin Run in 1978 helped confirm the event as one of the nation’s marquee races. He took first place in that event.
Customers and community members will have the opportunity to meet Rodgers, ask questions and provide words of encouragement before his participation in the 2011 Bellin Run on Saturday, June 11th. New Balance Fox Valley is a proud sponsor of the Bellin Run, a 10K held annually in Green Bay. The Bellin Run has grown to become one of the largest 10K races in the nation. The first Bellin Run was held on June 12, 1977 with 881 participants. In 2010, the event drew a record number 18,398 participants.
